working together
I partner with individuals, organizations, small businesses, and community projects to understand, design, and improve learning experiences.
Learning thrives in community, especially when we honor our process and relationships as much as the outcome. I support people to create intentional practices that foster meaningful connection, build and reclaim knowledge, and stay rooted in shared values through times of change.

The exact outcome of our work varies based on your goals and the needs of folks you’re accountable to. At the crux of every collaboration, here’s what I do:
I join you as a strategic, caring companion to your ongoing work. You often already know what you and your people need, so I create space and support to unearth your own collective knowledge. A shift in perspective or pace can be transformative!
I bring tools and approaches to listen closely and surface patterns, stories, and values. Making the implicit explicit creates a compass for alignment, so you can recognize when you’re off trail, and find your way back.
At every step, I prioritize deepening our shared commitment to liberation. My work is informed by a practiced analysis of power and oppression, including the nuances of practicing racial, class, gender, dis/ability justice.

You’re trying to make your work more sustainable and accessible for a wider range of people.
You’re exploring anti-capitalist approaches to collaboration, decision-making, and time.
You see every working relationship as an opportunity for mutual learning and reflection.
You prefer to move at the speed of trust and relationship. When speeding up or slowing down, you feel it’s important to pause and examine why.

what others say about working with me
Collaborating with Kendra is equal parts joyful and rigorous. She brings seriousness and intention to her work and recognizes it is all for naught if it isn't liberatory. She is someone I want to accomplish hard things with, and my first partner in mind when I need to collaborate on building new systems, or evaluating loads of information. She brings care and intuition to her facilitation in ways that make "break-through" moments possible. If you're seeking an experienced consultant who prioritizes authenticity, meaningful social change, creativity, and can also stand on business - hire Kendra and you'll want to keep working with her time and time again!
— Leila Tamari, Founder + Principal, This Place Works
For more than a decade, Kendra has been a trusted collaborator and interlocutor. I learned of her incredible work ethic as a high-performing member of my staff, where she developed and implemented social justice programs for students and faculty at The New School. We’ve since collaborated on multiple projects, such as producing a racial and gender equity strategy report for a progressive philanthropist, and she’s guest lectured about facilitation practice in my leadership and social transformation class at NYU. Over the years, she has proven time and again to be thoughtful, flexible, rigorous, and curious. Kendra embodies these elements in every project she undertakes, enabling seamless execution and leadership. Whenever there is an opportunity to work with her, I don't hesitate.
